Shipping policy

Caviar is a perishable product. To ensure all caviar orders arrive fresh, we only ship Express (Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air). Non-perishable items are shipped via regular ground service (1–5 business days).

Each caviar order is carefully packed in an insulated foam shipping box with ice gel packs. Our packaging keeps caviar fresh for several days in transit. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is present to receive and properly handle all perishable deliveries on the day of delivery.

Orders with Different Shipping and Billing Addresses

For security, new customers whose orders have different billing and shipping addresses will be contacted to confirm order details. If we do not receive confirmation within 48 hours, your order may be cancelled.

Shipping Fee

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on package weight and destination. Shipping fees will always be separately stated on your invoice. We reserve the right to pass along any additional charges due to incomplete or incorrect delivery information. Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order.

Order Processing Time

Most orders placed Monday–Thursday before 3 PM Eastern (EST) are processed and shipped the same day. In rare cases, please allow up to two business days for order processing. Orders placed Friday–Sunday will be processed the following business day. Contact us in advance if you have specific date requirements.

Choice of Shipping Carrier

If you specify a preferred carrier when placing your order, we will do our best to accommodate your choice. However, we cannot guarantee that your order will be shipped with the specified carrier. We reserve the right to select the shipping carrier which might be different than what was selected during the order.

Signature Requirements

• Orders Below $500: Orders valued at $500 or less will ship without signature requirement. If no one is present, the carrier may, at their discretion, leave the package unattended. Caviar Malosol is not responsible for lost or spoiled packages left by the carrier. If you prefer to require a signature, please contact us prior to placing an order or note this at checkout in the comments section (additional fee applies).
• Orders Above $500: Orders valued over $500 will ship signature required. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to sign for the package upon delivery. We are not responsible for lost or spoiled packages left by the carrier if no one is available to sign.

Optional Insurance

Additional shipping insurance is available through Shipsurance. If you prefer to purchase additional insurance, please contact us prior to placing an order or note this at checkout in the comments section. By purchasing additional shipping insurance you agree to their coverage terms (link). You can insure your shipment (including shipping costs) against loss or damage for up to $5,000.00. Restrictions apply. See what can’t be insured (link). This will replace any insurance provided by the carrier. Coverage rate is $0.75 per $100.00 insured.

Free Shipping

Orders of $500 and up qualify for free expedited shipping. Overnight shipping can be purchased at an additional cost during checkout.

Delivery Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, incomplete or incorrect delivery information, heavy holiday shipping periods, severe weather, or circumstances beyond our control (Acts of God). Once your package is handed to the carrier, any claims for delayed delivery should be made with the carrier.

US Orders

We ship anywhere within the Continental US. Additional fees apply for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Shipments to P.O. Boxes

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

International Orders

We do not accept international orders and do not ship overseas.

Risk of Loss and Title

All items purchased from Caviar Malosol are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. This shipment term is F.O.B. Origin. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these shipment terms.
